7 Tips for a Successful Postcard Mailing:

1. Define the Goals for Your Campaign
Defining a specific goal for your mailing helps you direct your
campaign and track your results. (i.e. campaign goal - # of
phone calls from new leads, or increased web traffic.)
2.  Pick a Target Audience
Speaking to one audience at a time allows you to address their
specific needs and maximize your mailing response.
3.  Use a Good List
A truly qualified, targeted list might be smaller or cost a little bit,
but you won't waste money on printing and mailing and your
campaign results will be higher.
4.  Be Brief & Eye-Catching
There is only a little space to say a lot - but don't be tempted
to clutter your card.  Keep it brief and visual - use pictures,
headlines, a few bullets, an offer and a call to action with
your contact information.
5.  Have a Motivating Offer
When you know your target audience, make an offer that
is ispecific to them.  Make it time sensitive and give them a
incentive to follow through.
6.  Have a Call To Action

7.  Have a Follow Up Plan
Your postcard mailing will generate leads, but you need a plan
to convert those leads into sales.
